Introduction and Function related of Jiangyin Wenlin Clothing Association

Jiangyin Wenlin Clothing Association (hereinafter short for JWCA), a non-profit industry-orient social organization established in year 2005, is formed voluntarily by enterprises that engage in knitted clothes production operations and individuals of the town. There are 3 departments under its administration: general council, routine council and sectary office. Aim to boost the development of Zhutang town clothing industry, JWCA provides government, local companies and society with various services concerned in clothing trade.

A group of over 50 member companies voluntarily joined JWCA, inclusive of private shops, Chinese and foreign jointed ventures and state-owned enterprises, sweeping majority of Chinese original well-known brands. The member companies not only constitute the backbone of Zhutang town clothing industry, but also constitute the principle sector of the economy of the gathering places.

JWCA will devote all the energies to the job of cultivation, assistance and promoteion of Chinese original clothing brands, and spare no efforts on brand internationalization and external communication. The association pay attention to the communicated coordination between upper and lower industries, companies and government while advocating self-discipline and maintaining the interests both of the trade and enterprises; not only promote the perfection and linkage of the textile clothing industry, but also make great efforts on the effective, active, practical internationalization and modernization.

The main task of JWCA may includes:

To serve the government entrusted to conduct trade investigation and raise ideas and suggestions on trade related policy and legislation; to study on trade development strategy and make development planning; to participate in formulation and revising trade standards, and organize to promote the implementation of these standards; take part in quality management and supervision; to be commissioned to conduct early stage verification for significant technical innovation and introduction project, investment and development project; to undertake other works entrusted by the relevant governmental departments.

To serve members and trades to formulate trade regulation and treaties, and establish trade self-discipline mechanism; to reflect requirement of the enterprises, and harmonize relation of various parts and maintain the legal rights and interests of the enterprises; to set up information network and publish trade periodicals and provide trade relevant information; to provide various consultancy; to carry out all kinds of professional training course; to hold domestic and foreign garment fair and exhibition; to organize international and national garment design competition: to carry out internal communication and cooperation; to be entrusted to organize identification, extension and application for scientific and technological achievements; to carry on various activities beneficial to all trades.
